Wishing much aloha to RM Chris!
The Board was recently advised that Chris Jakubowski wanted to live again on the mainland so we extend a sincere mahalo to him for all he did for our AOAO as Resident Manager and wish him much aloha and happiness in his future. The RM’s responsibilities will be covered by a temporary Site Manager until a new Resident Manager is hired.
Resident Manager’s Vacation Schedule
Resident Manager Chris Jakubowski is taking the three weeks of vacation he has accrued since being hired in 2019, some of which he was not able to take last year due to the pandemic. The Board has hired a temporary Site Manager to cover the regular weekday hours, and who will also be on-call for evening and weekend emergencies. If needed, please use the same RM contact info to communicate with the Site Manager if he is not in the RM’s office. The Board and all our residents wish Chris a wonderful trip!

Organizational Meeting for 2020 Annual Meeting
At the January 5, 2021 Organizational Meeting, the Board of Directors unanimously elected the Officers and assigned terms as follows for the six Directors who replaced the six who were removed at the December 19, 2020 Annual Meeting:
Steven Jones, President 2-year term/expiring 2022
Denise Boisvert, Vice-President
Patti Nakatani, Secretary
Nancy Nagamine, Treasurer
Jayson Kalani Lum 3-year term/expiring 2023
Ashley Bailey 2-year term/expiring 2022

2020 Annual Meeting Elections
AOAO Waikiki Lanais Annual Meeting Election Results
Nominations were made and elections were done by cumulative voting; the results were as follows:
Patti Nakatani 83.870% 3-year term/2023
Nancy Nagamine 77.359% 3-year term/2023
Kerry Kassover 92.184% 3-year term/2023
A motion was made to remove and replace Board Directors Vladimir Gurovich, Ainslie Ports, Steve Chu, Esther Cinco, Kerry Kassover, and Madeline Yanov. The motion was seconded and the voting was as follows:
In favor: 54.1198%
Opposed: 00.0000%
Results: Motion adopted and the six (6) board members were removed from the Board of Directors.
Nominations and elections were done by plurality voting.

The Organizational Meeting was postponed until a date could be set when a quorum of the new Board of Directors would be available.
AOAO Waikiki Lanais 2020 Annual Meeting
During the December 3, 2020 Regular Board Meeting, the Board of Directors scheduled the long-delayed 2020 Annual Meeting to be held on-site at Waikiki Lanais, 5th floor garage level on Saturday, December 19, 2020.
Registration at 4:40 PM
Call to Order at 5:00 PM
2020 Annual Meeting of Association Owners is postponed
In light of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have been advised by our attorney to postpone the Annual Meeting until a later date at which it can be safely conducted.
Once such a date is determined, owners will be provided a formal notice in writing.
Per our bylaws and HRS 514b, the proxies must be delivered to Touchstone “no later than 4:30 pm on the second business day prior to the date of the meeting to which it pertains.”. The AOAO would use the new date of the meeting for the purposes of proxy deadlines.
If you have already turned in your proxy, it will be considered valid for the rescheduled meeting unless you revoke your proxy in writing to Touchstone Properties.
